Russian-speaking Academic Science Association (RASA) is an international nonprofit, nongovernmental organization aimed at preserving and improving the common intellectual and cultural space of the Russian-speaking academic community by bringing together scientists who were educated in the former Soviet Union and are now working in USA, EU, Asian laboratories.
RASA from 2008 unites researchers, innovators, businessmen, set themselves the tasks of sharing knowledge and international experience in the field of science and education, initiating and coordinating joint projects, supporting and improving the professional activities of the members of the Association in the field of science, education and technology, as well as expert and educational work aimed at informing the public about useful scientific achievements.
Established in 2008, RASA is currently a consortium of three separate and legally independent regional organizations: RASA-AMERICA, RASA-ASIA and RASA-EUROPE. These 3 organizations coordinate activities in the field of common interests with the help of an international coordinating committee. In general, the association includes more than 600 members, including many well-known Russian-speaking scientists, as well as innovators and entrepreneurs in the field of high technology from the countries of the former Soviet Union countries, who currently work outside.
